We wanted to understand if it was similar to other life transitions that train our soft skills. The answer is yes! Introducing our new program Lifeed Transitions. It&#8217;s designed to support HR teams and managers in supporting their colleagues through this new phase (which involves everyone at the same time<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">!).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #7d10ac;\"><strong>We can become stronger through life transitions<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If we think about all the <strong>\u2018life transitions\u2019<\/strong> that we face throughout the course of our lifetime, we realise just how many they are. Perhaps it&#8217;s starting a new job, moving house, the birth of a child, wedding or moving in with someone, a period of being unemployed, a new job, career development or a loss. On average we&#8217;re living longer and going through more life transitions than ever. So, in a way, we need to get used to them!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pandemic has triggered a life transition too. It&#8217;s different from the others because it&#8217;s a collective life transition (according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2020\/04\/this-is-the-psychological-side-of-the-covid-19-pandemic-that-were-ignoring\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World Economic Forum<\/a> 2.6 billion people across the world have experienced a lockdown situation), because it was completely unexpected and leaves us facing uncertainty for the future.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">People that go through a life transition can either come out the other side feeling weaker or much stronger. It depends <em>how<\/em> they go through it. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just like every other transition, this one can also be \u201cseen as an <strong>\u2018opportunity for development\u2019<\/strong>, for individuals and organisations that welcome it\u201d, explains <strong>Prof. Pier Luigi Bresciani<\/strong>, one of the leading experts on life transitions. This is because when going through life transitions, people rediscover their resources to build a strategy in response to the &#8216;crisis&#8217;. These resources might include motivation, interests, self-representation, attitudes and skills.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color: #7d10ac;\">Why choose a program to face the crisis<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If not correctly managed, the crisis triggered by the pandemic could generate<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lifeed.io\/en\/2020\/10\/14\/how-to-prevent-employee-burnout\/\"> depression, stress and burnout<\/a>.<\/strong> Negative emotions can be contagious, and could potentially taint the second half of 2020 for at least one in four workers (according to World Economic Forum data). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For companies, this results in reduced productivity, and in extreme cases, absenteeism. This program extends our selection of online programs, which over 10,000 people have already benefitted from.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #7d10ac;\"><b>Who is it for?<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This program is suitable for the entire corporate population, regardless of their role or professional level.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #7d10ac;\"><b>How long does it last?<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 months, with a weekly 45 minute session that people can independently complete at their leisure.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #7d10ac;\"><b>Which learning method does it use?<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Just like our other programs, Lifeed Transitions is based on our <a href=\"https:\/\/lifeed.io\/en\/2019\/09\/21\/life-based-learning-enhancing-work-through-parenthood\/\"><strong>Life Based Learning <\/strong><\/a>method.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the online sessions, users have access to reading materials, multimedia micro-content, self-narration exercises that increase self-awareness and orientation.
