Mondelēz International: when caregiving leverages inclusion

Mondelēz International’s D&I Culture in Italy

Mondelēz International has always prioritized their employees’ wellbeing and inclusion.

The pandemic further highlighted people’s caregiving responsibilities. For this reason, the company expanded their wellbeing policies to truly make their people feel welcome at work, valuing them for all they are.

The impact on people and the company

The wellbeing level is calculated through an analysis of three dimensions that participants express: energy, awareness and sense of progress.

Caring leadership is an attitude that can be trained through everyday caregiving activities. It’s all about knowing how to guide both yourself and other people.

Flexibility and change management skills emerged from the reflections of participants to Lifeed programs that take care of someone else in their daily life.

We chose Lifeed because one of the founding pillars of our ‘D&I culture’ is being able to include and welcome all of our people’s identity dimensions and roles. What’s more, the way we listen to people through annual engagement surveys becomes incredibly powerful when teamed with Lifeed People Analytics.
